Bosses are being told to start discussing work from home options .. as the fuel crisis deepens. More from Gabrelle Hodson:

A top Australian economist says employers in government should open up a public conversation about working from home where possible, as the cost and availability of fuel worsens a MP capital Shane Oliver has told SMH the age that to keep the economy functioning for as long as possible, we also need to start doing the shopping just once a week, buying e10 fuel, rethinking road trips and using public transport more often. 

In the UK, the government's looking at a more drastic measure, making the top speed limit 80km/hr an hour to save petrol. 

And in parts of Asia, including Sri Lanka, they're already moving to a four day working week.
